Don passed away peacefully after a long illness. Aged 84.

Don, a Boat Builder and Fibre Glaser, was a member for many years at Sandringham and Chelsea as his principal clubs.

His preferred yachts were Sharpies.

He was made an Honorary Australian Life member some years ago. He had competed in Sydney to Hobart events.

For many years he sailed out of Sandringham with Peter Allnutt on Wednesday Wonders.

His booklet from 2014 on BOAT BUILDING IN MORDIALLOC is posted on MMYC website in Salty Yarns.

A wake will be held Sunday March 19th at Chelsea Yacht Club.
