Save the Creek
There has been much activity in the past week, involving meetings with Councilors and Politicians outlining the high profile of the Save the Creek Campaign.
We need a last BURST OF ENERGY from all club members to support the Mordialloc Creek Community and let's make sure we have maximum attendance at the Rally next weekend. Saturday July 31 gathering from 10 for an 11.00am start.
We thank you in advance for your ongoing support and trust that soon we'll witness some action to solve the existing problems in the creek’s infrastructure, including the increase in depth of water.
The featured photo of this story is an interesting old photo of Jack Pompei leading the "Save the Pier' campaign about 25 years ago. That time the Government intention was to halve the length of the pier, therefore rendering it useless. The community won that battle.
