Great Photo Ops

Our bay can sometimes present the most stunning photo opportunities and Sunday was no exception. The still and often changable conditions perfect for taking snaps however presented some challenges for skippers. |

Settled In

A few weeks ago Derek moved Veteran's Affair to a recently vacated spot around next to Moondancer. Since the move he's been busy settling in, installing new lines and pole sliders - it seemed like there was a never ending list of items to address. On Tuesday the latest addition, a fancy timber step was bolted on and Derek was keen to give it a try. |

Model Sailers
| While some sailed and others pulled salmon on board last Saturday afternoon, Mic and Peter were putting a model sail boat through it's paces a short distance off the pier. |

Cranky about the Creek

"I have been stuck in the creek near the hotel on numerous occasions and quite frankly I have had enough!"...... A number of Emails have started to circulate amongst members outlining issues with lack of access to moorings in certain parts of the creek. An article written up in the local newspaper about council plans for the Creek and surrounds started the latest discussion. Survey Under Way
| Work on Surveying the creek has commenced and David spotted the amphibious craft up ner the public slipway on Thursday. By all accounts there will be a number of reading taken over the next week or so. Good to see some action though. |
