Cruisin' the River
A few weeks back, David could be seen working hard on getting his Communications Mast to fold down in order to get under bridges etc. He even went for a test run down to Patterson River to check things out once the work had been completed.
But his main goal was a journey up the Yarra and Maribyrnong Rivers and Monday turned out to be the day. We were lucky enough to get a couple of shots from the Webcam as they passed Pier 35 following a quick phonecall. Apparently given the water level on the day they managed to get up as far as the Casino and David said that with a little more modification to the Mast he'll feel happy about tackling any of the bridges.
Following the stop-off at Southbank they turned and headed back to the Maribyrnong and Felmington Race course. An overnight stay had them back on the mooring on Tueday afternoon.
Should inspire a few others to make the trip as well !
