Graeme conscripted a bit of help and set about removing the two large and well corroded fuel tanks from either side of the now exposed bilge. With them out of the way, it was once again time for the Gerney and some more scrapping! Having turned Samantha stern-in for the work and now of course without an engine, it was down to muscle to get her right way round at the end of the day.

David meanwhile was wrestling with the installation a fold down base for the tower on top of Bosslady's cabin. He's pretty keen to head up rivers such as the Marribyrnong and Yarra which have quite a number of low bridges crossing them. Having successfully completed the work, he was off to Patterson River on Sunday for a trial run on some bridges there.
