Trophy Time
It was a big day on the Island Sunday. Scones with Jam & Cream for morning tea for our New Members, a table full of Trophies for the 2008-9 Presentation Lunch and a Soup and & Social evening to round it all off.
The day started early for some on the Committee, preparing a morning tea with the works for our new club members, who were invited along at 10:30 for an informal gathering. Morning tea flowed smoothly into the Presentation Day luncheon attended by about forty members and friends. Winners for the 2008-9 year events ( this year only for sailing ) were then presented with their trophies for each of the catagories. CBH winners (pictured) were Peter, Greg and Michelle.
To finish off a great day, a Social evening commenced at around 7PM, where those who attended were treated to a beautiful dinner Page had prepared - the best of the left overs from the Luncheon carefully recycled in the best "Master-Chef" style. Stragglers seen crossing the Bridge after 10pm included Hans, Page, Des, Michael & Margaret - the end of a "very FULL" day !
