Twilight Time
Eight boats were entered for the event. Initially the race looked like being cancelled with very little wind and the threat of thunderstorms. With a reasonable turn out of skippers we delayed the go/no-go till just after 5:30pm. Then with luck on our side the wind freshened from the east and the threat of thunderstorms dissipated. And so the eight boats headed out on a course out to the MMYC buoy M1. The sea was smooth and the sailing was brisk.
Also we had a few regular skippers teaming up with a couple of different crews. Greg Power on Sarah with Mick and Andrew and John & Heather Barberi on Skeo with Sharyn. As the series progresses we will continue this trend - so for the skippers who haven't come along to a Twilight give it some consideration. You'll be in for a good night.
