Go Sailing
Race 4 in both the Summer Competition and Twilight races are held this week and Yachting Events coordinator Mike Montgomery has sent out an Email inviting all club members to get involved. We thought it was worth posting here along with some shots from Race 4 on Sunday.
Hi All -
We are now well into our summer sailing season with events on Sundays, roughly two every month, and twilight events on every Thursday. So far every one participating is enjoying the weather, the sailing and the social interaction after each event.
The club would like to see more yachts participating this summer - so to those skippers who haven't been involved please get along on any of the days. To help anyone who feels a bit reluctant we have experienced sailors who are keen to go out build your confidence and enjoyment in participating. Our events have always been about fun and learning more about how to better handle and enjoy your yacht.
So this week we have another Thursday twilight - come down to club around 5pm - see me and I will arrange to have you out on the water with one our willing experienced sailors - ON YOUR BOAT.
Remember we have our events for fun and to socialise and be involved in our terrific club.
