Cleanup Time
With only a week until Opening Day, 25 members rolled up on Saturday to give the Island a Spring Clean. Graeme had sent out the "hit list" during the week and so with members like Derek on the drill, down to young Victor on the broom, it wasn't long until all the tasks were sorted. Greame can be seen below just making sure !
One long awaited job was that of getting Michael's Starboard mooring pole reinstated after a long absence. Still yet to move under the power of her new engine Samantha was put to good use as a steady platform and the job was soon completed. Michael quickly moved into his old spot where there's a few more feet of water under the keel than where he's been camped out.
Thanks to all those who attended and we're sure it'll help make next weekend a big success. Thanks also to Sharyn for taking these shots. Interesting to see what attracts a lady photographers eye though - isn't it David !!
